Greek Princess Dress
comments (0) June 12th, 2011 in galleryThis dress is made of sea blue chiffon and cream baby silk for the lining. The trim is a blue greek trim with a thinner gold trim sewn ontop. I came up with the design for this garment using various elements of prom dresses I had found online and ideas I came up with on my own. The dress ultimately resembles a cross between Disney Princesses Jasmine (from Aladdin), and Meg (from Hercules). I made up a lot of the dress as I went along including color, placement of the straps, shape of the bust piece, and drape of the fabric.
