This week, the designers were challenged to use unconventional materials found in a pet store to create a look. Birdseed, hamster bedding, umbrellas, leashes, and fish tank accessories are just some of items that are transformed into wearable garments.

What did you think of the designs this week? Did the judges get it right or do you think a different designer should have won?

Top Three:

Olivier (winner with immunity):

mompea writes: I think Anthony Ryan should have won. The winning dress ha dog bedding, a sewing material for the top. I thought that would have marked him down. As opposed to Anthony who has no sewing typical material or cloth. The bedding on Oliver's top is just plain fleece. I like the less cumbersome dress of Anthony. I think it has a better and more flattering shape. And the larger seeds used around the neckline is especially flattering.

IM_Lois writes: I like the birdseed dress. I thought he did a beautiful job especially on the neckline. All this considering he had thrown out his original plan and was hot gluing birdseed to the dress while the model was wearing it.

The winning combo shirt didn't do it all for me. Too bulky, weird combination of textures. The skirt was great made from hamster bedding.
