The Flower Power Challenge is officially over.  Our thanks to all who participated.  The four challenge winners will be announced here on CraftStylish,  October 8th.

Make summer last all year long with the second CraftStylish Challenge: Flower Power. Create a pretty flower in your own crafty style, post a picture to the challenge gallery (below) and you could bloom as one of four lucky winners. How lucky? Four-leaf clover lucky—four winners will receive the ultimate embellishment package: an assortment from the new Crafty Chica Craft product line, the fab Crafty Chica book, The Crafty Chica Collection: Beautiful Ideas for Crafts, Home Decorations and Shrines from the Queen of Latina Style, and a copy of the smokin' hot premiere issue of CraftStylish Quick Gifts to Make.

The Flower Power challenge will be open for entries until 11:59 pm ET on September 30. Then keep counting petals until October 8, when we'll announce the four challenge winners—the makers of the prettiest, snazziest, and most creative blooms—right here on CraftStylish.com.

Here's how to enter:

1. Title of your flower (should include the words flower power).
   
2. A brief description of how you created it and why you should win.
3. Please post at least two great images of your flower (image requirements are detailed in the form).

I did fail to mention that I use my flower creations to inspire my son, the teacher's, sixth grade class to bring me their empty cans. They get very excited to see what I form out of them and I think it changes their perspective about trash and discards. Good luck to everyone!

Yes, you are welcome to post a flower to the gallery, however due to our rules and eligibilty guidelines you are not eligible to win a prize (U.S residents only) But please do post your creation, we would love to see it.

MichaelaMurphy writes: Hmmm, Kittykat, I'm sorry that you are having trouble. Here are a couple of things to try; check the image size (our site can load images between 400-4000 pixels wide), check the image label (name) and remove any punctuation. For example, if you image says anything like lotus-flower.2.jpg Change it to lotusflower2.jpg The only punctuation should be the period before jpg. Hopefully one of these remedies will work, if not let us know and we can try something else.

VictoriaNorth writes: Yes, you can enter a project you have already posted. You will want to change the Pattern and Design used to "CraftStylish Design or Editor's Challenge" and choose The Flower Power Challenge from the top of the drop down box. Save your changes and you will be entered into the Challenge.

Keep in mind you may not see your photo on this page immediately. If you see the link to the Challenge at the bottom of your gallery post you know you have linked everything up correctly. Let me know if you have any other questions.
