The Beauty of Simplicity
comments (0) July 14th, 2011A famous french writer once said, "A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." I think that it is important as a designer of anything, to realize when you have "overdone" a design. When I originally made my teardrop necklace it had a variety of beads in all different colors. I finally realized that the beads didn't add anything to the necklace. It was actually more beautiful as a teardrop with two silver strings. So the next time you go to make a brand new item, only add what is necessary, stand back, and admire.
