Karma
comments (0) July 19th, 2011Most people know what karma is but not how it originated. Karma is believed to have started from the shramana tradition, which is very similar to Buddhism. Karma is essential an Indian belief of "cause and effect". Or more popular known as "what goes around comes around". Karma in India is believed to be a spritual law created by God. They believe that whenever anything bad or good happens to you, you deserve it. You created some action that set into place God rewarding or punishing you. Many people today (Indian or not) believe in the power of karma. If you do good, good things will come your way. Karma is symbolized in everything from a homemade necklace in the shape of a circle to paintings and even in home decor.
