The Star of David, also known as the Shield of David is a widely recgonized symbol or Judaism.  It's made from two triangles creating a hexagon.  This symbol has been around since the 17th century.  It's been used on everything from a country's flag to decorations in synagogues.  Today it has been heavily used in the craft world.  From bracelets to a Star of David necklace to scarves and tees.
