Navajo Blue
comments (0) August 5th, 2011When Europeans first landed in the U.S. they took a lot from the Native Americans. They look food, land, clothes and even jewelry. What most of us don't realize is that they also took colors. Navajo Blue is a bright but light blue color, very close to the color of the sky on a sunny day. Take a look at my Navajo Blue homemade bracelet for reference. The Native Americans using natural plants and berries had colors not offered in Europe. And they used colors in varies patterns unique only to them.
