The bodice is made from the 2 sleeves. Gather the rounded large end sew ruffle to cuff keep buttonhole of cuff at waist end for it will have ties for bow coming out of it. sew cuff and ruffle right sides together press.Join in center the cuffs press seam open on right side you should have seam allowance showing with the cuffs finished egde to press open. Top stich with decorative stich or top stich. Make sure to leave extra fabric beyond the cuff edge so it can be made into casing for elastic at waist and at top of bodice. Fold over top egdge for 1 inch casing and run elastic through top. Sew other end of sleeve together so it's not open. Now take those ends and check your sizing by trying on, must be loose a bit because it has to slip over your rear end when putting on. Now sew your back bodice seam together mathing the sleeve plackets when pinning. Sew casing at top and put elastic through anchoring at center bodice. When you sew the skirted portion onto bodice. (It was cut off just below armpits of shirt). Cut out plackets, sew skirt back center seam by placing those 2 fresh cuts together. Remember to have removed the man pocket before cutting shirt apart. Carefully with seam ripper. Gather skirt to match bodice circumfrence, and when you pin skirt on make sure you have bodice edge for folding over to create casing for waist elastic. Cut skirt curves off to create a straight across hem. The ruffle pieces were from the top back of shirt 2 strips cut there under the back yolk. Ruffle lace could be substituted on bodice. Make sure to check the length that you want your bodice and cut to your size before attaching remember leave enough extra for casing at waist. Add bow in back by saving the seam alowances from cutting shirt. Both sleeve seam allowances were used infront to appear as drawstring at waist.  Have fun!
