A couple of my friends have asked me several times to make a western bag. This is my first one. I wanted it to be different from what I have seen. The fringe is handcrafted and does go all the way around the bag. The leather is a thick cowhide sude. The brown areas are actually branded into the leather. The handle is wooden turqoise beads. The inside is lined with a flannel Native American motif with a small open pocket.
