Handmade Paper jewelry Ivory necklace
comments (0) November 18th, 2011 in galleryn this sophisticated design features a handmade paper pulp central piece that looks like ancient stone but light as a feather!
I've used an antique printing block, a Persian one this time, to create the central piece out of paper. I've painted it with acrylic colors, decorated with silver leaf and then sealed it with matte varnish for protection. It is durable and would last for many years. (I wear my jewelry for many years and on a daily basis :-) you might clean them very gently with a damp cloth.)
The central piece hangs from a multi-strand nylon coated stainless steel necklace.
Looks great on black dress as well as on bright colored wear or wedding dress.
