Felted Santa Shelf Sitter
comments (0) December 10th, 2011 in galleryMy daughter and I exchange homemade Advent presents. This is the Santa Shelf Sitter I made her this year. Made entirely of felt, the decor (snowflakes, belt buckle, hat trim) is buttons, glued on. The blanket stitch is used on the front to attach the pieces of felt, and a plain red backing is attached to the front on the sewing machine. The bottom is a piece of plastic canvas glued to a piece of white felt, and sewn to the Santa. Stuffed with fiberfill and potpourri, it provides a lovely touch of Christmas for any Santa Collector!
