oceanfan72 writes: Last year, 2011, I was plagued with health problems. I just didn't have the concentration to sew. Also, my 12 year old Singer broke down near the start of the year and I didn't have the $$ all at once to fix it. This year I'm determined to fix my beloved machine and take up numerous projects I have set aside. One is a bolero jacket sewn out of a yellow Chinese fabric. I miss wearing my finished pieces and getting compliments.

For everyone but me ,hopefully mine are next.
Would love to finish a skirt I cut out last winter , oh and planning a quilt for my niece she's having a baby. And I would like to make vintage kitty cats from all my quilting scraps for all the little girls in the family. And one more project making slip covers for my cool old retro chairs for the front porch my husband just built me , lucky me!

brynsea writes: 2011 was an extremely busy year for me but not with personal sewing. January 2012 is my reorganizing month. Then I will make a new coat for my birthday in February and I promise to gift myself something each month. I deserve it. I have a closet full of unfinished projects that I intend to thin out by giving half away and finishing the ones I love the most. Let's see how that works.
