Satin Brocade Table Linens
comments (0) January 5th, 2012 in galleryThese table covers were Christmas gifts I made for my son & daughter-in-law. They have a coffee table and 1/2 circle table. I used this lovely satin brocade fabric and lined it with a deep red broadcloth blend fabric. The brocade fabric gives off a different sheen when viewed from the opposite direction. I hand sewed the gold trim to the edge to finish off the pieces. These cloths were made to leave a 2" border to display the dark wood and made a nice contrast. At the time the photo was taken the tables were full of presents. The room is full of earth tones and my son & DOL wanted a punch of color and were pleased with the results.
