I wanted to do something special and unique for my significant other for Christmas but didn't know what.  My mom and I happend upon a sale of Pendelton wool samples and pieces, where I found the material.  He has American Indian in his family, and I thought a coat would showcase the beautiful fall colors.  I used a quilted heavy lining to add warmth and added hand made leather frogs with bone toggles to complete the coat.  He LOVED it and already gets people who will stop him and ask where he got the coat.  He loves to say "it's Italian and hand made" because of my background! :)
