I made this set of pillow covers to quickly decorate my family room. They all have envelope style backs so I can easily put them over my existing pillows for the holiday season. To be economical I used muslin and broadcloth as the base fabrics, so I can wash and iron them easily between uses. The other fabrics were from my scrap box and leftover from the holiday quilt I made, and I embellished the edges with rick-rack, ribbon, and decorative machine stitches.
