Love it! no recommendations

I am so excited, I have made 2 shawls, 3 sweaters and a baby blanket without buying anything. Those who do not have the pleasure of working with this wonderfully tactile experience, never understand the need to have a BIG stash. The best part is--soon I will go out to squish new yarn. The shawls are made on size 19 needles. Cast on 5 stitches, knit them with an increase in first and last stitches. Next row inc in first stitch, yo, k2tog, yo, k2tog , then increase in the last stitch. I have been working on lace making and these are what I am able to do so far. Keep following this until the shawl is long enough for the person or your self, and then bind off. Scarves cast on 30 stiches--figure out how wide you want to make your scarf--you can add more stitches when you are casting on. Just work in multiples of 5. Knit first 5 rows. Then k2, yo, k2tog until you have 2 stitches remaining. This pattern is great with bamboo or cotton bamboo, it also works well with bulky yarn. Have fun--if this isn't clear, send me a question and I will try to explain. Happy stash busting.
