Am loving the tribal inspired look that is prevalent amongst designers right now. This bracelet nails the trend perfectly. I have seen similar bracelets at craft markets but I never realised how easy they are to make.

You need:-
safety pins - I used 60 x 20mm long ones
beads
elastic thread
scissors

You do: -
The most difficult part is putting the beads onto the safety pins. You can play around with bead colours and make a design, or pick your favourite colour and do a single colour bracelet. How about neon colour beads?

Thread the beads on your safety pins and lay them out so you can keep track if you have a pattern in mind.

When the beads are threaded, pull the elasticised thread through the base of all the safety pins and tie a few knots in the thread to secure it.

You can put the bracelet onto a rolling pin or something similar to make it easier to work with. Next take the elasticised thread through the top of the safety pins. Make sure you pull it through as the elasticated thread is inclined to catch at the top of the safety pin.

Knot your second piece of elasticised thread securely. And that's all there is to it! Your new tribal inspired bracelet is ready to wear.
