Mutti writes: This book would be a great inspiration for creating more elaborate dance outfits. I try to make my own ballroom dance dresses since I know something about sewing and want to become better at it, and I certainly can't afford to buy elaborate dance wear. I always try to change a pattern to make it the way I envision it and how it would work for a certain dance. I am in a showcase on April 1, 2012 and would really like to win this book. I believe this book would greatly help to do it for me.

I would love to have the BurdaStyle Sewing Handbook as it surely has unique twists and helpful hints to help explain the best approaches to sew their wonderful patterns!

I'll have to remember to hide the book though, as my very talented daughter has a very nice, growing library of multiple crafts (as mine library slowly dwindles away). Although, I must admit it is fun to discuss projects and send pictures by email!

SewBecoming writes: Burda rocks. It took me a long time to come to the conclusion that I should just forget the other pattern lines as the Burda patterns ended up working out the best for me and my family. We all have wide shoulders and we seem to fit well with Burda. Haven't done a lot of sewing over the past 4 years and am working on setting up our spare room so I can get back into it. A new book of inspiration would be totally awesome.
