Although summer is sadly on its way out in my part of the country, I love this crocheted and sewn bubble dress by Wardrobe Refashioner tftCarrie. She crocheted the collar and then used an old floral curtain to complete the dress. This is a woman (and project) after my own heart. You could easily update an old t-shirt or tank top in the same way by cutting off the existing straps/collar and adding a quick hem to the new line you cut, then attaching the new collar. Or add a simple collar directly to a tee using Cal's inspiring tutorial.
