Halloween Graveyard Silhouette
September 12th, 2008 in holidays, gallery
2007 Halloween! I took white material and covered the front of my Porch/Breezeway. When I bought the material I brought a mini black light, battery operated, with me to make sure the white material glowed with the black light, (so you can use it for next year's craft with a black light instead of a strobe light). I took black poster board, I traced and cut out tombstones, bats, crosses and a moon and put them on the inside of the Breezeway on the white material. They became shadows. I also put an artificial tree from inside my house and hung a noose and a skeleton from the tree. I put it in the corner in the Breezeway. I turned on the Strobe light from inside the Breezeway. I then dressed like a Grim Reaper with a hood, long nail gloves while holding a Sythe. I walked around inside the Breezeway, It looked liked I was walking amongst a Graveyard! You can also do this to any window, doorway or porch! Your going to love the out come.
These we're the only 2 pictures I had. The pictures don't do justice for how amazing this really looked! And the bright green thing in the picture is a cauldron filled with green spider web. Keep bunched up, fill the caudron with newspaper then the web as the top layer. Put 3 good size sticks together, tie ontop and twist, yes like a teepee frame. Put a black light shining on it. My sister dressed like a witch and sat on my bench giving out treats while I Reaped-d-did in my Breezeway! Loling! We had so much fun with this! Good times~Good Times!
My sister the Witch, and my 3 boys, Wolfman, Son of Dracula and Gas Mask Boy! I know! Gas Mask Boy? Thats what he wanted to be. Loling! Funeeeeeee!
This skeleton was hanging from a fake tree with a noose around his neck behind the white material. I had this tree inside my house as decor. I wish I had a better picture of my Graveyard Silhouette. My sister took them with her camera. She didn't put them on her computer umtil she got home. She lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I live in Pennsylvania. (During her week visit, we celebrated Halloween and WON The World Series~Boston Red Sox!!!!!!!!!!!! Woohoo! It was an amazing week!
