In this photo, you can see the technique I used to achieve such crisp, straight stripes. Packaging tape! Thats it. So easy. 
And here you can see how I painted each stripe, in a gradient from chartreuse to black.

When it comes to everyday wear, my style is comfy and cool, simple but with one detail for a little pow! I wanted to make a cool Dolman-sleeve sweatshirt using Vogue 8771, but didn't want it to be too boring in plain grey. So I used tape and fabric paint to create this Chevron design on the front panel. I love how it turned out, and get so many compliments on it. I've included some photos to illustrate how I did it.
