8. After the first round, you will notice that your circle may not be entirely closed at the first stitch.

You will have a long strand of yarn holding the first round together if you do not pull tight enough. This is not good. |
To avoid this pitfall, begin the round by swapping the first stitch on the left needle with the first stitch on the second needle.

9. Make sure you put a marker at the end of your round, placing it between the last and second to last stitch so you know where to begin and end.
