As I was making this for a German Shepherd (7 months old) the underside had to be more like another rectangle to make it wide enough to fit between her front legs. I didn't realise this until I had sewn the first side of the triangle so just added another piece of material on to it. If you have a bigger dog I would recommend adding an extra couple of inches onto each measurement to give a bit of room to move! All this aside, Luna loves her new jumper :)
