Hand-Made Tree Skirt

The skirt was made with 60" wide felt, folded in quarters and cut into a pie shape (when opened it becomes full circle). Every year the kids trace and cut out their hands on fabric. We write their name and year on their hand. We glue it to the skirt with fabric glue. Every year when we take the skirt out, they can see how much they have grown by placing their hand on their fabric one. Its a work in progress!
