I took a college class in beginning sewing with my daughter to encourage her to find an interest, and ever since I've been fascinated with sewing. I am now taking flat patternmaking and beginning to design my own clothes. I'm an avid reader of Threads and SewStylish and have tried several of their techniques. I love Kenneth D. King's techniques. My most crafty projects to date have been custom-made cleaning cloths for my husband and a doll for a friend's child with a matching dress for her. Every time I go to the fabric store my head hurts just thinking of all the possibilites.
