I have seen quite a few tank tops and T-shirts with crocheted neck edging this summer, and I like them more and more. That's what I'd like to make. The examples in the book are elegant and they look like fun.
Obviously, Matthew Sporzynski, whom you've already mentioned and who does the paper sculptures at Real Simple magazine. Also Robert. J. Lang and Michael LaFosse, who do origami.

Thanks for the great tutorial! Two questions: 1)Does wax paper work in place of parchment paper? 2)What if you want to make flat buttons with a shank? Can you poke holes in the shank part and will they stay open in baking?
You know, for some reason, the newsletter I receive on Mondays (posted Sat.) shows the posts from the past week, not the week to come. Your post here gets me excited about what to look forward to, but it's "buried" on the site unless I search for it. What about putting your "week to come" post in the newsletter? Cheers!
