I learned to sew at a young age watching my mom create wonderful clothes. My first sewing machine was a singer from a yard sale and it lasted for years. I originally made Barbie and baby doll clothes and then moved on to making clothes for myself. I was usually a little different then the other kids in school. I am getting back into the swing of sewing and want to expand my knowledge to fabric draping and pattern making and fitting. I have a dressform and am constantly having difficulty with making it fit my shape correctly.
