I was taken aback by editor's comments. Paper, invented/discovered thousands of years ago was not made from trees, but from other plant sources. High end
commercial and hand papermakers have been using cotton, linen and flowers
for decades!

I adore the egg pots! Are these dry arrangements or are they living? Are they also larger duck eggs or brown chicken eggs? Thanks for the inspiration.

I would treasure a compendium of ideas on how to repurpose, recycle, reuse

I have long believed in and used tin can storage... and the challenge of getting cans wa met when i visited my grocery store and got their wonderful oversized cans (from their in store restaurant). These industrial sized cans are great for my rulers and knitting needles. I like the sleek, retromodern, neutral look of cans and they enable me to see just what color pencil or marker i want...now if only everything else could be so easily, efficiently, or inexpensively organized.

GReat idea! One could glue cotton balls ( i save mine from vitamin bottles) or stuffing on the cardboard before wrapping and then they would be puffy.

I'm more a yarn than a material person and so see myself crocheting around the rings.

Now-- off to get a coffee can and dig out cardboard ....

Hooray! I applaud your recommendation to use non-tree sources. Truth is, paper is best from plants other than trees ( cotton and linen, for example)
