Pink Flower Necklaces and Earrings

These pink wool flowers are linked in the necklace and are made singly with little loops for the earrings. I like them both the felted and not felted and so have made a set for each treatment. Pink...

This bookmark combines heart and head by hand. Knowledge is essential, learning must be continuous and the heart must guide the journey. I created the design to gift friends and family- a useful way...

Re: Book Giveaway: "Never Been Stitched"

This was made for me! I crochet, weave, torch fire metal, kilncast, sandcast, and flamework glass, braid and wirework, but sew O NO. It frightens me to figure out the bias, cut in straight lines, thread and wind bobbins and needles. So I hope I win, because I love creating, but not sewing.

Re: Book Giveaway: Fabric Blooms

I would love to get this book. Spring has been slow to bloom here in the Southern Finger Lakes region. Color would chase the chill.

Re: Book Giveaway: 100 Colorful Granny Squares to Crochet

I would love to learn more granny squares!

Re: Book Giveaway: The Prayer Shawl Journal and Guidebook

This is a wonderful combination of avocations: prayer, crochet and writing. I would love to own this book as a both guide and inspiration.

Re: Book Giveaway: Paper Blooms

I'm a hand papermaker and would relish ideas to use on my beautiful, form scratch, plant papers.

Re: How to Make a Snowstorm

Brilliant Elegant

Re: How to Make a Magazine Reed Box

You say REEDS I say BEADS! This is akin making paper beads and these Reed/
Beads can be used for jewelry, curtains, room dividers and more!

Re: Naturally Beautiful Paper

I was taken aback by editor's comments. Paper, invented/discovered thousands of years ago was not made from trees, but from other plant sources. High end
commercial and hand papermakers have been using cotton, linen and flowers
for decades!

Re: Hemidemisemiquaver Design

I adore the egg pots! Are these dry arrangements or are they living? Are they also larger duck eggs or brown chicken eggs? Thanks for the inspiration.

Re: Book Giveaway: Eco Craft: Recycle Recraft Restyle

I would treasure a compendium of ideas on how to repurpose, recycle, reuse
and create anew. I'm a papermaker, choose me!

Re: Recycle Your Tin Cans into Simple, Stylish Craft Storage!

I have long believed in and used tin can storage... and the challenge of getting cans wa met when i visited my grocery store and got their wonderful oversized cans (from their in store restaurant). These industrial sized cans are great for my rulers and knitting needles. I like the sleek, retromodern, neutral look of cans and they enable me to see just what color pencil or marker i want...now if only everything else could be so easily, efficiently, or inexpensively organized.

Re: Make It: Crafty Mini-Wreaths

GReat idea! One could glue cotton balls ( i save mine from vitamin bottles) or stuffing on the cardboard before wrapping and then they would be puffy.

I'm more a yarn than a material person and so see myself crocheting around the rings.

Now-- off to get a coffee can and dig out cardboard ....

Re: Shopping for Beads and Jewelry Supplies at Metalliferous

Grrrrrr! LOL! Metalliferous has long been my secret advantage. Always the best prices, the best service, the best stuff, in all things metal for decades. So
it's like turning on a travel show and seeing your special cove depicted, you want it to thrive, but you don't want it overrun.....

Re: Take Responsibility with Eco-Friendly Paper-Crafting Tips

Hooray! I applaud your recommendation to use non-tree sources. Truth is, paper is best from plants other than trees ( cotton and linen, for example)
and you can make it yourself! I join others in explaining how: http://www.artfarm.com/papier.html
