I've been into arts since a tender age, but I never discovered crafts until way later. I used to always sketch growing up. All I ever did was sketch with pencil on paper. That was art to me and I knew no other art form. Then one day my friend made a friendship bracelet for me and I loved it and I made her teach me how to do it! Then I started learning new patterns by trial and error (I'm too cheap to pay for stuff). Then one day I was shopping in Pacific Mall and I passed by the store of a Chinese woman who sat there beading all these 3-D objects, and I was so amazed. That was my introduction to beading. So there's a lot more to art than sketching!

Re: My Amazing Sewing Room

How did you rotate the chair? I was trying to rotate stuff in mine but I couldn't figure it out!

Re: Allegra's Post-Modernistic Room

The post-modernistic room is set in a big city skyscraper. The colors are cold and modern. The geometry is very angular. The walls match the sky, while the curtains compliment the floor. The window is balanced on all sides by the desk and the two mannequins. The sewing table is off in the corner, out of harm's way, but easily accessible if required. Hope you like my room!
