Re: Book Giveaway - Backcountry Betty: Roughing It in Style
I've never been a big fan of camping, but my kids are now of the ages that they REALLY want to go. I've actually been thinking about it now that we live in the Texas Hill Country and not the rain forest of Houston. This book just might teach me what I need to know!

This is absolutely adorable! Of course, I'd have to add a matching cloth napkin and a matching bag! I even have that same patterned fabric already, but it's not lined/coated.

My absolute favorite TV show EVER was "Little House on the Prarie"! I did everything I could to become 'Laura' and even wore my hair in braids all the time. I loved the costumes, especially the bonnets! lol! Oh, and the shoes!
posted: 7:23 pm on August 4thI'm 41 years old and still watch the reruns and have tried my very best to get my own children interested...including going outside at night, building a fire in the fire pit and roasting marshmallows and reading stories-"Little House on the Prarie" books, of course. But for some reason, they just don't get it, and that makes me sad.
I have NEVER heard about the new musical, but I have to see it...I hope they travel with it. I'm going to have to go find out more. Thanks for posting about it!
