Re: How to Knit Everlasting Autumn Leaves: No Raking Required
Lovely! RR528 - google for I-cord, there are far too many sites to even start citing them here, even vids on Youtube to teach you. In brief, however it is a cord knitted on DPNs (Double Pointed Needles) that ends up looking like the cord you can make with French knitting/knitting Nancy/cotton reel knitting.

Re: Knitted autumn leaf
That looks fabulous, Carolyn! How much fun is it to make autumnal leaves in spring! Am going to make some for a dead tree out the front - one that didn't survive the drought...

Re: Book Giveaway: World of Geekcraft
This IS a great book - I recently got it out of my local library, and have ordered it for my #4 son (with his too-busy mind!) and his creative girlfriend to have fun with. It is full of lovely fun things for all ages - so I would be delighted to win my own copy which would save me a 350km round trip to borrow. If any of you don't win this then dash out and buy it!!!(No I don't even know the author!!), Hugs from Down Under.
