I still have my other homes meaning my kids places in California and Texas.
I came here in 2000 to escape the nuttiness of my hectic life. Now I live on the beach in my dream home. My sewing room/office has the best view of the house .
I started sewing when I was nine, flunked sewing in high school (teacher /student conflict) went on the win a Betty Crocker scholarship and attend the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York.
I ended up in Silicon Valley with a dotcom and an Internet mortgage company.
Now I am a writer and am starting my book on how to live in Mexico.
I live to sew! I love to sew! I have to order all of my fabric online and ship it to a friend that is coming to Mexico. When I visit my kids I head to fabric stores. both kids are on the fabric store mailing lists in their cities and they save coupons for me.

I will see what I can create.
Also to those asking, I would use a medium weight interfacing.
And there are two sided fusibles, so you could use fabric on one side.
But it is so elegant in white.
