Great tutorial, I can't wait to try. Do you think I could eventually use the plastic rings from water bottles? My mission is to find uses for all sorts of stuff like that, that ends up in landfill and in the oceans. Perhaps you could give me a pointer or two on how to do that (those rings are not as sturdy as the ones you use in your buttons).

This is just what I'm looking for! All these ideas! I am pretty new to crafting, but have been looking for ways to re-use and upcycle for about 25 years, so I am excited to see what you all are up to.
