Omi Salavea (that's me!), is the Fiber Artist behind Bender Oak Gifts.

Crocheted, Knitted, and Needle-felted gifts, ranging from the practical to eccentric are a part of my daily life. All of my creations are spurred from an imagination set on creating a memorable piece that fits into every day life. I have recently dipped into the wide field of soap-making. Contact me for your sensitive skin, or a lush aromatic experience.

Bender Oak Gifts was created in honor of my pet, Bender Oak Cannon, an adorable and constantly amusing companion. Adopted from the Asheville Humane Society, Bender Oak gives me as much joy as set of knitting needles and a ball of cotton yarn.

I teach Basic Crochet and Needle-felting, and always welcome the oppurtunity to share the growing Handmade Movement.
