I live in 'Sin City' aka Las Vegas and have for bout 26 yrs now. Grew up in So. CA, and yes I still miss the ocean, call myself a 'Valley Girl at heart'.
I have two children and three g-children, whom I adore. I am divorced now, finally, yay, yahoo!! Can ya spell happy? lol
I am a self-proclaimed movieaholic, adore the oldies but goodies, yes even the b & w ones. I love to read, mostly mysteries. But my passion is all kinds of crafting, crocheting mostly, is that a craft? Anyways, I love to do that most. I embroider, paint lil goodies, do a bit of wood-working, decopauge, etc. sewing, adore making things for my g-daughter.
I have lotsa pets, dogs, cats, tortoises and turtles, our own lil menagerie.

Re: Get a Handle on your Crochet Hooks
i found a tip for the hooks on a tv show with polymer clay. i did exactly what the instructions said, did it all. but boy howdy it is'nt quite the same as the tape or pencil grip, its mega-heavy. its so awkward being heavy that it actually makes my wrist ache, plus it's too hard. so much for that idea, don't try it ladies, i'm warning ya. lolol

awesome, just awesome. such talent!!! i have a pattern for the gingerbread house also, havent started it yet, you just gave me the inspiration to start mine now. hopefully it'll be at least half as pretty as yours. thanks for sharing.
