I have been sewing for 40 years. I began around 5-7. I made my first outfit in 4-H when I was 8 years old. I do a little bit of everything. I've made Wedding Gown, Christening Gown, smocked, knitted, made my clothes and childrens clothes, home decorating, bags, embroidery, cross stitch, needlepoint, hook rugs and pillows, decoupage, a little wood work. My next goal is quilting. I have already started my stash and have cut out squares. I am making a T-Shirt Memory Quilt for my daughter who is a competitive and school cheerleader.

I love this. I have always wondered how to use these paintsticks. I found an online website that sells them but wasn't sure what they were for. Thank you for the information. Could you use this technique on silk?
