I have an el-cheapo Brother sewing machine from Wal-Mart (don't recall the model). Doesn't do much, but it's all I needed at the time. Now that I've rediscovered sewing, and I see the new models and all that they can do, I want to get a new one. I even saw one recently with a computer mouse attached to it! SHEESH!! I am out of touch.

I'm also interested in getting a serger; although, I'm not exactly sure what they do differently than a regular sewing machine.

I also have an old Windsor that weighs a ton and is turquoise blue. It was my mom's...bobbin keeps jamming up on me so I don't use it but keep it around for sentimental reasons.
