I love hand made crafts. There is nothing as personal and loving as a hand made item. I have been a knitter, crocheter, Knifty Knitter loomer, cross-stitcher, seamstress and quilter in my life - not to mention soap maker. Though I dont consider melt and pour soaps hand made - but I do love to make up batches for me and my family. I go to church most every Sunday but dont believe in religion. I am a baby boomer child of the hippy generation. I try to volunteer as much as possible because the Lord has blessed me abundantly and I have so far to go to share that with as many others as possible. And besides who are we to keep all our worldly wisdom to ourselves - lol.

Re: A Crafty Retreat in the Woods

What great fun. Some years back I went on a yearly girls trip with friends from NKY. I sure do miss those trips. But new crafty friends and I are looking to doing a retreat to a family members piece of land in the woods - in NKY - can't wait. I hope its the first of many. It is definitely nice to have my babies grown with babies of their own and time for me to escape with crafters like me. Have fun making memories in times to come girls.
