I am a mother of one very busy toddler boy, and hopefully expecting to have another one next year. I work very part time only because it allows me to leave the house and be with adults. And it is during my sons nap time, so hes at the sitter for lunch and a nap which is perfect for both of us.
Anyway, I started sewing when I was about nine or ten, and made my first quilt from fabric samples that my mom had leftover from her design business when I was thirteen. I think I was one of the few college aged girls who actually asked for a sewing machine for Christmas one year. That machine lasted me about ten years and now I have upgraded to a Viking machine and never realizes how much I love to sew! I started my own business this past spring CourtLynn & Co. I make a variety of things including, but not limited to; rag quilts for babies, rag bags for mamas and everyone else who likes fun homemade purses, girlie hair clips (my most popular item) and some paper products like favor boxes for weddings and/or baby showers. I have my own website as well as an etsy store.
