Love the bodice! I'd have to make it a little longer to cover the knees, but the flowing, flirty style would be perfect for hot Florida summers -- which, by the way last well into September, so there's plenty of time for me to win the pattern AND make the dress! ;)

Three-quarter sleeves are the perfect length, IMO.

The fabric paint is a great touch, and I love the dovetail in the back. You're right, it does give the jacket a dressy, unique look.
