I was born and have lived my entire life in the great northwoods of northern Minnesota. I am completely arachnophobic, so living in the extreme north means I don't have to worry too much about poisonous, eight-legged critters. Four-legged critters, like our two chocolate labs, are definitely my friends and I'm more than willing to share house space with them!! I've always loved the act of taking one thing and making it into another thing...like fabric into clothes...or cloth scraps into quilts. Fusing and lampworking glass, then mixing it up with other beads and wire are just the latest sojourn into the world of art and creation that I'm lucky enough to be able to explore!
