I love my Summer wedding projects. This season's winner comes from a bride whose father never wears anything but bib-overalls, the kind farmers wear. He announced he could not walk her down the isle without them. I was asked to create a pair of "Tuxedo Bibs". First detailed digitals of all the different pockets, details and placement on the garment were taken. Then I de-constructed it and used the pieces as the pattern. The seams will all be top stitching in black, only the detailed pockets will have a double stithed effect. I'll use the inner pockets from the original bibs and line them only from the waist down. I'm thrilled to my little sewing heart knowing that the Bride's dress and her Dad's "tuxedo bibs" will be the "talk of the party".
