A lifelong crafter, I learned to craft as a young girl having been was blessed with a creative mother. Sewing, crochet and embroidery were all hobbies I used to dress my Barbies and decorate their homes. I am an award winning seamstress with over 40 years of experience.I became very resourceful at a young age. That same resourcefulness now makes me search for eco-friendly crafts and maintain an eco-friendly lifestyle as much as I can.

Other artistic endeavors include the founding of the first scrapbooking website scrapbooking.com in 1996 and organizer of the first scrapbooking cruise. I co-authored a scrapbooking book and have written articles for numerous publications online and in print.

My mission is to leave the world a better place. I work in education but also strive to live a green life style with my husband and son. With that in mind my newest creative project is a line of custom made recycled and up cycled purses, totes, jewelry and more.
