I'm new to selling my crafty creations, but love making things that will one day find a home with someone and be cherished by it's owner.
Fingers crossed.
I adore stitching, the satisfying feeling you get from cutting fabric, the classic and old fashioned, bursting colors, amazing patterns, flowers, thrift store treasure hunting, the freakishly cute, peacock feathers, sharpies and clever craftiness.
I come from a long line of stitchers and have been sewing and creating little projects my whole life. Craft and design has given me a chance to explore what I love, which makes me an extremely lucky duck.
I studied clothing design and museum studies at the University of Minnesota, I enjoyed a summer studying abroad in Paris, spent another summer hand stitching for Sesame Street Live, explored the Goldstein Museum of Design's collections as a curatorial assistant in college and currently sew for another local Northeast Minneapolis crafter and yours truly.
