Instead of buying leather handles for purse I was making ($67 on the internet!) I bought a belt at thrift and cut it in half for handles. I have found interesting fabrics and linens and even hanks of beads. You just have to look at things in a different way to see what they can become.

I totally addicted to plastic bag crochet (and had turned on friends as well) so I am excited to try this. It's fantastic to recycle and make something from stuff usually thrown away. Thanks!
