Yes!! I get your meaning!! I've done the side zipper also. I really prefer the invisible zipper but I didn't have one and unfortunately I've moved back to my home town who only has Walmart...... so ya do what ya gotta do!!! But I always experiment with new techniques, which is why I did the pick-stitch zipper. Amazingly it didn't take as long as I thought and wasn't too bad (and I HATE hand work!) thanks for all of your comments!

Thanks for you comments and encouragement! Although I've been sewing for many many years, I've just recently started making my own patterns. So when someone likes what i've done it really encourages me to keep going!
