As to JennieMB's about making your own dress form, there are numerous tutorials on the internet on how to make your own using a t-shirt and duct tape then cutting it off and stuffing it with batting then putting it on a stand of some sort. Here is a link to one at Cut Out + Keep.
I actually liked Julie's design, but didn't care for Oliver's look.
I subscribe to her blog and it would be interesting to see her take on sewing.
I love the way it drapes. This is definitely going on my to-craft list.
Very cute idea. My niece has a birthday coming up and her family is into racoons and might try this project.
