I am a retired Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher. I taught for 28 years in public schools in Ohio, New Mexico, and Texas. I am a member of American Associan of Family and Consumer Sciences. I love to read, sew, knit, crochet, decorate and whatever other craft seems fun. I especially love to make clothing for my granddaughter, age 2 3/4, and will soon be sewing and knitting for her baby sister due in Jan or Feb 2009. I have one son who lives in Dallas (the father of my grandchildren) and another son who lives in England. That's a fun place to visit!

I also have former exchange student from Indonesia, living in San Diego with her American husband (best friend of one of my sons) and two children. A second former exchange student lives in Slovakia with her husband and three children. It's really fun to go there!

My husband was planning to retire this year, but the economy ended that idea. We like to walk together, go to church together, canoe, ride motorcycles (me on the back!), and play with the grandchildren.
