I am a retired Public Health Nurse and a fiber maniac. I love to spin, weave and crochet. Actually I want to do more sewing for my grandbabies and jewelry making for my daughters. I have more ideas than time - sound familiar??

My favorite thing is just to pick up my crochet hook, a yarn that feels good or looks yummy and just go - everyone asks "what are you making" and I will just mumble something about a shawl and let it go at that. The true answer of course is "I don't know!" - I am having fun playing with my yarn and if it turns out to "BE" something then great. Kind of reminds me of childhood mudpies but instead of playing in the mud I am playing my yarn stash.

I have some of the new bamboo-handled aluminum crochet hooks and they are my absolute favorites. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis and these are a joy to work with!
