I grew up in New Englabnd and re4cently moved to NYC to attend grad school. My passion for crafting has helped me to make the transition into my new city and to connect with other creative people. I guess I too am an omni crafter, but lately Ive been experimenting with fabric printing. I really like the site and decided that I should become a member and join in. Heres to making things!

Re: A Halloween Story

This is one of my very favorite stories. I remember reading it last year and laughing so hard. I love CraftStylish and visit the site often--but I do miss Ms. Murphy and I'm sure that others do too. Maybe CraftStylish can have her back to tell us another craftfail story?
Thanks for reposting it. I printed it for keeps this time.

Re: Sun-Printed Wedding Invitations

LOVE! But for real, how many did you have to make? I am getting married next year and I have definite DIY bride fear. I feel like 'I could make a dip for the reception' but that's it. Yet , I love it when other brides DIY. Maybe just maybe? Did you have much help? Thanks.

Re: How to Make a Super-Easy Triangle Halter Top

Re: Crafting with a Passion: What is Yours?

I'd like to see that sweater.
I too love to make things and am constantly taking a new class and building up my skill set. But I think that my first love will always be for knitting. I remember my grandmother patiently teaching me how to knit a stockinette stitch and the pride I felt watching my first scarf grow row by row. It seems that my closet friends share my love of making things and we often get together and sit in one or the others living room and stitch, embroider, or crochet and talk about our lives, share patterns and techniques (or cool crafting sites!)
My passion for crafting stems from how much it enriches my life!

Re: My first handbag with my own design!

Re: It's A Bird, It's a Plane, It's a Super-Quilt from the Past

I've been checking out this site from the beginning, but when I saw this quilt I just HAD to comment. What an amazing story! I love how this adorable quilt has such long history--and that it keeps on going ! It made me cry to read the posts from the two creators! This so cool and thanks for doing it like this. I LOVE to make things and it is great to hear the 'backstory' as well as see the project. I am going to try this with my nieces. Thanks Craftstylish, and Jill and Gregg and Micheala
